Financial & Data Analyst – Research, analyze, and present financial analyses and business plans to determine prospective impacts, both positive and negative, of strategic financial planning, investment strategies, and other operations, as well as develop new income streams and cost reductions and recommend operational process improvements and strategies for effective strategic operations management. Duties include developing and monitoring Priority Partners’ financial analytics, with a strong emphasis on the success of medical cost savings methods; performing financial modeling and forecasting for business departments as assigned, including but not limited to expense review, capital expenditure proposals, investment strategies, and debt covenants and loan packages; collecting, managing, analyzing, and reporting financial data to support company financial decisions and related operations management strategies and recommend solutions to financial and related business problems; assessing and managing financial portfolio, valuating securities, and making recommendations for equity investment, capital budgeting, structure, and management; accessing and manipulating significant amounts of complex financial and business data; contributing to the design, development, and implementation of digital technology and automation related to the company’s data collection, analysis, and presentation processes, including the development and maintenance of databases; preparing reports for management, including analysis of business and financial data to compare and contrast operational strategies and make recommendations for business process improvements; participating in department and organization projects and initiatives as assigned; and using SQL, Microsoft Access, PowerBi, Excel, and Power Automate.
Position requires
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration with a concentration in finance and/or investment, or a closely-related finance field.

12 months of experience in a position focused on financial analysis and/or process improvement, to include at least 3 months of experience with the below-listed areas; in lieu of three months of work experience in these specific areas, employer will accept 3 credits of college coursework in each of these areas:

- Principles of Operations Management,
- Strategic Management,
- Investment and Equity,
- Financial Modeling,
- Portfolio Management.
